Menthol, a crystalline alcohol found in peppermint has a sharp, bright fragrance and acts as a skin cooling agent, or as a stimulant.

Menthol is an organic compound made synthetically or obtained from the oils of corn mint, peppermint, or other mints. It is a waxy, crystalline substance, clear or white in color, which is solid at room temperature and melts slightly above.

Used medicinally, their cooling sensation makes Menthol Crystals ideal for addressing aches, pain, cramps, sprains, and irritation. They help relax muscles while easing tension headaches, nausea, dizziness, and they can be used as decongestant agents for their ability to promote the feeling of airways opening up.

How to use it effectively?:

• Menthol Crystals (Karvol Capsules or similar) Add to hot water to make steam inhalations for treating catarrh and dry or painful coughs. Vapour Rub Again, for steam inhalations. Also for use for children with stuffy noses or dry coughs. Rub on the chest or nose
